State Properties Added To National Register
April 10. 2002

Frank Home, Sapulpa, OK added to the national register of historic homes.

John Frank, founder of Frankoma Pottery, worked closely with Goff, former University of Oklahoma School of Architecture director who was internationally famous, on Frank's Sapulpa home.

"Goff designed the house to incorporate the life and achievements of John Frank," Gabbert said. "Much of the finish material, including patented "C-Thru" window tiles and glazed bricks, are products of the Frankoma kiln."

The house was constructed in 1955 and is recognized for its exceptional significance in the area of architecture, he added.
